Well thought question indeed , not all of us have honest intentions but im sure Matt has a solution already....
I'm hopeful that Salut will become the main platform I use to teach classes, but I am interested in learning what actions have been taken to prevent "bombers" from intruding on the class and disrupting with inappropriate remarks or video. Are there any privacy measures currently in place that keep this from happening, like it has on Zoom? I looked around the app to see if this has been addressed, but I couldn't find anything. As I promote my classes and the app, I'd love to be able to reassure my participants that they are in a safe space.
Where am I?
In Salut Squad you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!
Thanks Dottie. Great question. This is something we take very seriously. We're currently building an array of Trust and Safety features. One of the first features is the ability for the trainer to ban any user with a single tap. This will immediately turn off the offending customer's camera and "IP ban" the customer from logging back in. This is coming shortly. For the time being, we are able to do the same thing on the backend. Simply send an email to email@example.com and we'll take care of it immediately.
